On June 28, Ron Barceló and Miami-based artist Ruben Ubiera celebrated the melding of art, spirit and their mutual proud Dominican heritage with the launch of the new Limited Edition Barceló Añejo Rum bottle at Wynwood Diner. The trendy venue transformed into a rum cellar adorned with the unique golden bottles, Ghurka cigars, copper punch bowls and intimate lantern lighting. 150 tastemakers, art aficionados and spirits connoisseurs enjoyed Ron Barceló’s new summer cocktails as Ruben Ubiera toasted with his guests while signing select bottles and gave insight to his collaboration with Barceló Añejo, a golden, amber rum whose bold, rich notes hold woody aromas of butterscotch and toffee with flavors of vanilla bean, caramel and spice.
