VERDE & VIEWS
Verde, located in the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) with sweeping views of Biscayne Bay, is a modern, casual restaurant with limited indoor seating and socially distanced outdoor seating on the expansive terrace with waterfront views. The menu is locally inspired, featuring dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and her signature pastries. Handcrafted specialty cocktails and a select list of carefully curated wines complement the creative cuisine.
AMERICAN FARE
Once the hostess took my guest and I to our table, we were able to marvel at the gorgeous water views while seated outside on the terrace. After glancing at the menu, I ordered the Perez Chopped Salad, and my guest ordered the Verde Chicken Club. The Perez Chopped Salad is prepared with little gem lettuce, napa cabbage, cucumbers, chickpeas, avocado, radishes, roasted sweet potatoes, olives, farro, pickled onions, heirloom tomatoes, feta, parmesan, and preserved lemon vinaigrette. This salad tastes fresh with all the ingredients combined. It is quite filling as well. My guest also enjoyed the Verde Chicken Club, which was made with juicy and tender chicken breast, avocado, lettuce, fresh tomato, bacon, rosemary aioli, and served with fries. We were delighted with our meal.
SWEET SIDE
Afterwards, we were ready to dig into something sweet. They currently have a few options for those with a sweet tooth: Warm Honey-Soaked Doughnuts, topped with pistachio dust and spiced sugar; Berries & Cream prepared with white chocolate mousse, bitters, marinated berries, and milk crumble; and Butterscotch Budino (Italian for pudding) made with blood orange, salted caramel, and candied walnut dukkah. We chose the Warm Honey-Soaked Doughnuts which were sweet from the honey, warm, soft, and very enjoyable.
