A New Take on Adults’ Guilty Pleasures
Quore Gelato, a boozy gelato innovation, was created with the best of the best in mind. It started with the inception of the brand, developed by founder Kwon Jin Lee and one of the world’s most notorious gelatiers, Malcolm Stogo, who notoriously created the “cookies and cream” ice cream flavor.
The Quore team travelled to Italy with Stogo to seek out the best gelato flavors Italy has to offer. The liquor aspect of the brand came in due to a passion for the high-end liquor industry. They recruited some of the best mixologists in the U.S. to develop the perfect liquor-gelato combination for each flavor. The result was Quore Gelato’s delectable flavor blends, which include over 15 flavors to choose from, with vegan options available.
For the fruit lovers, there are creations like Blackberry & Cabernet Sauvignon (Terraza Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon with velvety blackberry gelato) and Mango & Vodka (Belvedere Mango Vodka with creamy mango gelato), while more indulgent flavors include Gianduja & Hazelnut (Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur and savory gianduja, a chocolate spread) and Dulce de Leche & Tequila (Don Julio Reposado Tequila and rich dulce de leche).
Quore has three locations planned for South Florida, with two of them already open. The Aventura Mall location opened in November of last year, while the second location in Hollywood Beach opened this past March. A Wynwood boutique is set to open sometime this year as well. The boutiques offer a sleek, luxurious ambiance inside, with the Hollywood location designed with floating bar seats, pink velvet chairs with gold touches, and a colorful wall with a rainbow of the different gelato and liquor flavors.
