Whether you’ve missed your high school prom or absolutely loved it, you’ll be able to relive your high school memories at the 5th Annual HANDY Prom Night all while supporting HANDY’s mission to educate, embrace, and empower vulnerable youth. The event will take place at 2345 Wilton Drive in Ft. Lauderdale. Individual tickets for this event start at $150 per person or $275 for a couple and includes open bar, food stations, entertainment, valet parking, and access to PROM After Party. On this night, you’ll get a chance to get all dressed up, show your moves, and enjoy the evening with music and entertainment. Throughout this adult-only soiree, attendees will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres, food stations, specialty cocktails, a silent auction, and more!

Gear up to walk or run the 6th Annual Krista- Marie Touch of Love Charity 5K for an early sunrise morning at the beautiful C.B. Smith Park. Krista-Marie Touch of Love is a non-profit organization with a mission to raise education and therapy funds for children diagnosed with autism and related disorders. In memory of Krista-Marie, may we always remember her unconditional love towards all the hearts she touched. Registration for this charitable event is $35 and all ages and abilities are welcome to join the 5K, even your friendly pets. The race will start promptly at 7:00 a.m., so arrive early to stretch and grab some food and refreshments offered by various community sponsors. After you’ve crossed the finish line, there will be medals (limited to the first 500 participants), prizes, raffles, food, refreshments, music, and even a costume contest. Don’t miss out on this fun family event for a great cause!

Fill your day with some sunshine and fresh air as you make your way to the 10th Annual Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K at the Huizenga Plaza. Since it was established in 2011, this event has raised over $1.75 million that stays in our community to save lives and support victims of drunk driving. All event proceeds will benefit MADD Broward & Palm Beach’s community education, victim support services, and youth programs. The cost to participate for 5K Runner Adult and Youth is $35, for a Walker Adult $30, and for a Walker Youth (ages 5-18) $25. Registration at the event will open from 6-7 a.m. and the event will commence at 7:30 a.m. The children’s 100m MADD Dash will start at 9:00 a.m. Afterwards, there will be awards given for top fundraiser, top team (private and corporate), as well as overall and age-group awards for 5K finishers. Make your dash to the finish line!
