The red carpet will roll out for the 21st Annual OPAL Awards Gala and Fundraiser to celebrate and recognize the citizens of Boca Raton who have served their community and have demonstrated their commitment through philanthropy, education, professional leadership, government, and community service. Onsite, there will be music, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres during the reception, followed by a seated elegant dinner, live entertainment, and an auction as these outstanding individuals are honored at this event. Proceeds will benefit The Rotary Club of Boca Raton’s Service Missions, including Youth Scholarship Programs!

Each designer decorated individual rooms of The Fountain House, a Mediterranean-style home situated along the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach’s highly desirable neighborhood, now open to the public for a worthy cause. Proceeds from the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach will benefit Kips Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. Admission for this event is only $35 per person or you may purchase Group tickets for $30. You might even get some fresh ideas for your own home!

Get those leashes ready to run/walk with your friendly canine friend in the 1st Annual Dog-A-Thon sponsored by D.O.G. and Udog App! A trophy will be given to first and second place winners. This fun-filled day will continue after the race with experts in training, treats and organic foods for your four-legged friends to sample, contests, and even games! Early birds get in free to this event, which will take place at Margaret Pace Park at 7 a.m. Donations are always accepted, and will go to the Miami Dade Animal Shelter. You won’t want to miss this run with your dog!

It’s a fantastic day for tee time! Take out those golf clubs for a fantastic cause by attending the Annual Leo Geller Golf Tournament hosted by Parkinson’s Foundation South Palm Beach County Chapter at the Boca Rio Golf Club. Proceeds made will go towards this nonprofit organization and their mission to raise awareness, improve care, and advance research for those affected with Parkinson’s disease. After purchasing your ticket for this event, you will begin the day with a wonderful lunch at 11:00 a.m. before hitting the links with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The daylong tournament will end at the 19th hole, proceeded by a raffle, awards, a cocktail reception, and a lavish dinner at the club for a perfect finish!

Bring your appetite to the 17th Annual Family Pasta Dinner for a tasty event for the entire family! Tickets to Andy’s Family Pasta Dinner are $50 per adult and children 12 and under are free; casual attire is welcomed. This year’s event will be taking place at the Signature Grand and proceeds will benefit LifeNet4Families to provide assistance to the homeless and hungry here in Broward County.
