The famous FTL bar has been doing their underwater mermaid burlesque shows for a while now, but recently they decided to give their female customers a show of their own! The 23rd Annual Miami Riverday Festival will be a day of waterful fun for the whole family. Free riverboat rides, historic tours and reenactments, kids’ activities, and environmental education will all be a part of the day’s happenings. The most exciting moment of the festival will occur when the paddle board and kayak races take off, and after you can relax with some food and drinks. Live music will be provided by Spam Allstars, and Luis Bofill and Band.

The Tortuga Music Festival is one of South Florida’s most anticipated music events. Tons of music lovers come out to the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach to experience the festival, but also to help raise money for ocean conservation. A portion of the proceeds from the event go towards the Rock The Ocean Foundation, which was created by Tortuga to generate awareness and keep the ocean clean. This year’s lineup includes Jason Aldean, Flo Rida, Maren Morris, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Kenny Chesney, and more! Swim on over and prepare to rock out!

Swim, bike, and run at the South Beach Triathlon, benefitting Save the Children! This intense, challenging competition is one of the nation’s most esteemed and rewarding, with gorgeous views throughout the whole course. Begin with an ocean swim that runs parallel to South Beach, then bike as fast as you can over Miami Beach’s Causeways. Comforting views of the Intracoastal Waterway will encourage you to keep up the pace! Then, finish gracefully with a run by the Art Deco District, to finally reach the end on the sands of SoBe. Awards will be handed out to the top competitors, and every participant will receive a 4″ finisher medal! All will be winners!

“Who let the dogs out?” At Bo’s Miami Dog & Pet Fest, it doesn’t matter; all dogs and pets are welcome! As long as they’re well-behaved you can bring everything from a pig to an iguana, a snake or a cockatoo! The best dressed pet will be the winner of the pet contest, so make sure to dress yours up in some crazy attire! Other contests include “Smartest Dog,” and “Master/ Pet Look-Alike,” which both include cash prizes. 75 exhibitors will be selling pet accessories and products, as well as food and drinks for both pets and owners! Training sessions, demos, arts and crafts, and tons of music will also add to the furry fun!
